Allow Keys

Remove all keys that do not match a regular expression

The Allow Keys action removes all keys that don't match a regular expression. When applied to your processing rule, the Allow Keys action will allow only those keys that match the regular expression provided.

For example, given the following sample website log data:

To allow only the user_id key:

1. In the processing rules tab, in the Actions dropdown, select Allow keys.

2. In the Regex field, enter user_id.

3. Optional: Select the Match case checkbox if you want your regular expression to be case-sensitive.

4. Click Apply.

Your processing rule will now allow only user_id keys in your pipeline.
