Delete Key

Delete a Key and associated Value from a record

The Delete Key action deletes a key and its associated value from a record. When applied to your processing rule, the Delete Keys action removes the specified key and its value from every record in which it appears in your pipeline.

For example, given the following sample website log data:

To remove every occurrence of the user_id key and its associated value from every record in your pipeline:

1. In the processing rules tab, in the Actions dropdown, select Delete key.

2. In the Key field, enter user_id.

3. Click Apply.

Your processing rule will now delete user_id key and its associated value from every record in your pipeline.
