Create a fleet

You can create a fleet by using either the user interface or through Calyptia CLI.

UI

To create a new fleet using the Calyptia Core user interface:

1. Sign in to Calyptia Core.

2. In the navigation menu select Fleets. The Fleet Management page will appear.

3. Click Create Fleet.

4. Enter a name for your new fleet, and then click Next.

5. Update the Fluent Bit configuration based on your needs.

6. Click Save and Deploy.

Your fleet will be created.

Calyptia CLI

To create a fleet using Calyptia CLI, use the calyptia create fleet command:

calyptia create fleet --name FLEET_NAME --config-file FLUENT_BIT_CONFIG_FILE

Replace the following:

• FLEET_NAME: The name of your fleet.

• FLUENT_BIT_CONFIG_FILE: The Fluent Bit configuration file to use.

Your fleet will be created.

Other commands for managing your fleet include:

• get fleet

• get fleets

• create fleet

• update fleet

• delete fleet
