Concepts for your Observability Journey

Term	Description
Core Instance	An installation of Calyptia Core on a virtual machine, a bare-metal server, your laptop, or a Kubernetes cluster.
Pipeline	A highly scalable, auto-healing, and a configured entity managed by Calyptia Core that has a source, processing, and destination.
Secret	An object that contains sensitive data such as a password, a token, or a key.
Actions	A base unit of transformation for processing rules. This can include "Add", "Remove", or other transformations.
Processing Rules	A set of actions that are part of a pipeline.
Source	Where data originates from or is being collected from.
Destination	Where data is being sent or delivered to.
