Allow Keys

Remove all keys that do not match a regular expression

The Allow keys action removes all keys that do not match a regular expression. When applied to your processing rule, the Allow Keys action will only “allow” keys that match the regular expression provided.

For example, given the follow sample website log data

To only allow the user_id key, from the actions drop down menu of your processing rules tab, select Allow Keys. In the regex text box, add “user_id.” Check the Match case button if you want your regular expression to be case-sensitive. Then click apply.

Your processing rule will now only allow user_id keys in your pipeline.
