Add/Set Key/Value action sets a specified value to a key in a record

The Set Key/Value action sets a specified value to a key in a record. When applied to your processing rule, The Rename Keys action will set a specified value for every occurrence of a key in your records.

For example, given the following sample website log data.

To set the value “purchase” for the key “action”, from the actions drop-down menu of your processing rules tab, select `Set Key/Value”. In yourv “key” input box, add “action” and in the “value” input box, add “purchase”. Then click Apply.

The value for the “action” Key will now be set to “purchase” in all the records of your pipeline.
